Aproximately how large is an IW at 6 months of age? Height and weight?

Hi Brenda,

This is a good question, but I haven't kept this breed, so it would be better to contact a breeder directly with your question. A breeder could probably give you a ball park figure on the pup's height and weight. My guess would be that the height would probably be about half the size of an adult dog, but since these dogs take so long to mature, the weight would probably be less than half the weight for an adult.

Hi Sophie,

Probably not much. Those long thin legs are built for running. An Irish could probably carry a service dog back pack, but more than this might cause injury.
