We have a german shorthair pointer. He is the most loving and sweet dog ever and a wonderful addition to our family. He is gentle, happy, and a huge baby. He whines when he doen't get his way. He is great with other dogs and people. Definitely a great companion...just make sure you respect the breed's need for exercise and there will be no problems. We live in an urban environment and we take him to daycare 2x a week for exrta play!

i have always wanted one of these dogs. im only 16 and when i was little my mother had a friend with one of these dogs and i feel in love with them. when i get my own place i know what kind of dog i want and i know its a dog right for me for im always busy outside doing something. when i get my dog i know i will have someone to keep me company. These dogs are great and would go with any other one.
