Hi Amy,

Maintaining a consistent schedule and being persistant are the keys to housebreaking a dog. Check out our article on Potty Training Your Dog. I hope you find it helpful. You may also want to post this question on our Dogs forum to gather more advice about what has worked for others. :)

Hi Sharon,

They are impressive, aren't they. The site editor for this channel has one she rescued, and she loves her dearly. :)

French Mastiffs are the most gorgeous large dog i have ver owned. I wasscared of big dogs till I owned mine. I have a healthy respect for them, but they know I'm alpha female. I guarantee if you see them as tiny babies, you will fall in love with them.

Hi Dave,

Your pack sounds great. Our Site Editor here actually has rescue Bordeaux's, and she feels as strongly about them as you do. :)

I currently have a pack of seven dogs,1 French Mastiff,3 Pitbulls,1 Border Collie 1 Italian Greyhound and 1 Chihuahua. They are a very balanced pack and the French Mastiff is by far one of the most mellow and well balanced dogs I have ever had the pleasure of being around. The only downside is the life expectancy and having a roll of paper towels everywhere in my universe since her arrival.I cannot see a time in my life where there will not be one of these magnificent companions in my home.
