i have a brindle pitbull puppy and i was just wondering what to name her... shes a little rambunctious and goofy.. she plays with her brothers and sisters all the time and eats like a hoover...

We got our female min pin while we were in West Virginia, so we named her Dixie since we crossed the Mason Dixon line to get there. Our male min pin is named Champ, just because EVERYTHING is HIS.

I am getting a show german shepherd male puppy . I have a few names in mind but my family does not like them. I want his name to be powerful and demanding. Any suggestions?

How exciting! Showing dogs has been a big part of my life.

Many people choose to name their pup in some way after the sire or the dam. Sometimes it's easy to play off this original name, so you might want to give that a try. You'll probably be using the breeder's kennel name on the papers, so your name choice will also have to fit the available spaces left on the registration form.

As for powerful and demanding names, what about something like Intimidator, or Supercharged? Remember, you can call your dog anything you want, and your call name doesn't have to match the paper name.

Anyone else have some suggestions?
