Kelly Roper has been involved in the world of purebred dogs since she was nineteen years old. Over the years, she's been a breeder and owner/handler who eventually graduated to professional handler until the demands of a big family took precedence. Her expertise is in the field of toy and non-sporting dogs, but she's shown quite a few other breeds here and there. Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos and Jack Russell Terriers are her favorite breeds.

These days Kelly works as a freelance writer and that's how she wound up as GE and resident expert at LoveToKnow Dogs.
